3 months

Giggling, daycare, baptism! So much happened during Camber's third month of life!

I really wanted to get Camber to giggle before going to daycare! The big, cant-catch-your-breath-giggle! And it happened the day before I had to go back to work! Last night Doug got him going by tickling him! It is adorable.  I’ve tried to get it on video but when I pull out the camera he gets so serious!

We also got his three-month pictures taken.  We got a few smiles out of him, but of course he had way more on the way there and the way home! Such a stinker!

I went back to work yesterday and Camber to daycare.  It was such a sad morning, but we both lived through it and went back today (not that we had much choice). Only 34 days until summer (not that I’m counting or anything).  I am very grateful to have such a busy job because it keeps my mind from worrying (too much).  Camber has done a good job at daycare, making new friends and coming home exhausted! J

I thoroughly enjoyed my maternity leave: getting to spend the day snuggling with my babe, but real life must continue.  Now I cherish every second of being home with him: no phones or TV as I don’t want to miss a single second with him.  And if I’m being honest, I’m typing this blog post one-handed while he sleeps in my other arm.

Today marks exactly five years since Doug and I moved into our house! So much has changed since then: got married, I got a job teaching in Waukee, Doug opened his business, we got our puppy dog Carly Moe, Doug sold his business, and we had a BABY.  Can’t wait to see what awesome memories we can make in this house during the next five years!!

Such a cute boy in his bow tie

The following pictures are the ones I took when he turned 3 months old.  It makes me laugh to see his progression during these! He started with lots of smiles for me!

I then wanted some with his elephant (he obviously didn't want to smile)

We took a small break and I got a few more smiles.

Back at it with the elephant and no smiles

He started to get a little distracted!

See what I mean?!

I brought in reinforcements....Daddy!!

And the smiles started flowing!

"You're being silly, Dad!"

"Mom, I am done with this!"
