We have had a busy few weeks. My birthday and Mother's Day.

Doug took me to Kansas City to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. He planned the whole thing and it was so much fun to rest, relax, and shop! We definitely missed our little stinky, but we had a great time.

Camber stayed at my mom's house and did a great job. He of course, took his truck book!

Camber is such a happy, little guy. He is definitely opinionated and will let you know if he doesn't agree. He LOVES to eat (and eat and eat and eat). He still loves being outside as well!
On Saturday, the Waukee Fire Department had their annual Pancake breakfast. Camber has been really interested in fire trucks, picking them out in his books and even driving his toy one around all the time. We knew he would love to see them in person. He isn't quite big enough to sit at the table, but he managed to still eat two pancakes!

Later that day we bought flowers and went and visited Doug's mom and grandma at the cemetery. We miss them like crazy and Mother's Day is always a tough holiday, because we just wish we could talk and hang out with them for a little while!

I have so much to be grateful for! Only a few more days of school and then I get to spend a few months with this awesome 1 year old! It's going to be such a fun summer.
